What's New at Moondance
New and Promoted Staff
We are pleased to welcome aboard our new Marketing and PR manager, Maressa Zahra.
Maressa hails from Malta and has many PR abilities. She is a freelance writer and has several articles published in the WritingKid newsletter at FundsForWriters website. She was a staff member at The Tattoo which has been dubbed "the best teen journalism in the world". She has published 3 pieces and won a second place award in the Excellence in Journalism Contest of the Society of Professional Journalists, Connecticut Chapter.
Maressa went to the University of Malta where she studied Economics, Accounting, Sociology, Managment, and Business Ethics among many other subjects. At Abela Junior College she had advanced levels in Economics and English and is fluent in English, Maltese, and Italian languages and also has a basic knowledge of German and French.
Maressa - we warmly welcome you to our humble net abode!
On a similar note, from the Editorial desk of Tamour Allen came this memo:
"Sarah Eaton has moved from our Song and Story copy editor to the position of Song and Story editor. We are appreciative to Sarah for taking the position - now Song and Story will continue to enlighten us with its literary song - and thanks again Sarah!"
