I am Patse Hemsley
I am also Indigo Fish
Together we create sensual images
In soft pastels on paper...
Accessible Art That Celebrates Life.
It'll keep my family happy on bouillabaisse
For as long as I live.
I spent nearly half my Life
Creating ads for multinationals
Like Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson
SmithKline Beecham, Elida Ponds...
Ugh, the list is endless and unnecessary.
I used to get restless every two years
And move across continents with the speed of sound.
Now I am settled in a beautiful space in the UK
Feeding my soul to its heart's content.

I
have discovered a medium, in web design, which marries my artistic
ability with my passion for computers and the Internet. Moondance
Arts is a wonderful place where my artistic fires are being rekindled
through my constant exposure to new artists. My company, 4 Monkeys
Web Design, allows me to pursue a career while staying home with
my real four monkeys.

I grew up in Arizona and love the desert so much that my husband, two cats, and I now live in Palmdale, California. Our backyard is regularly populated with jack rabbits, roadrunners, and coyotes. We have a 24-year-old son who
lives in San Diego.
I come from a long line of computer users, starting with my father, who was a systems analyst for GE, Honeywell, and NCR. My first computer was a Kaypro-10, which had an unbelievably large 10 MB hard drive.
I practice Buddhism and am a District Chief in Soka Gakkai International-USA. Here I am with other West Palmdale District Women's Division members at our 1999 Women's Division General Meeting.

I am Melinda Giovengo, I began my interest in computers by writing BASIC programs at the age of 11, I took some courses in high school, then was away from computers until 1993. At that time, I realized my true life's calling, computers. Currently, I own Showcase Web Design, volunteer online, run a site called Mommyhood Moms, run a local women's high-tech study group, take on new projects as they come and am mom to my three girls.
Melinda will be taking over as Designer for Fiction, starting Fall 1999
