Renee Phipps is an illustrator that has "given up the pen in hand for a mouse". She creates most of her art freehand on the computer and also creates works of art in wood. She has a series of wood patterns currently being published in all seven issues of Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazine. All her wood pieces are double-sided in that the design goes all the way through, and all the colours are the natural colours of the wood. No dyes or stains are used.
Renee's illustrations have been used in an electronic children's book that came out September with Nitelinks, Inc. The story is based on a cat cartoon character she created named "Fiestybutt." She is also currently pursuing publication for three lines of greeting cards.
