Perfection by Mona Dash

Give me some time,
I will write it yet-
After I paint the walls of my study
A Mellow cream
Place soft cuddly cushions
With rose covers on the floor
Frame my picture of Monet's lilies
for the walls
I will write it yet
-The perfect poem
I will be there yet
Almost there
Give me some time
Yes, just move a little bit to the side
Hold me there, that's about right
Where is your passion?
I am almost there, yes just about there.
It could have been perfect you know
Is that television on again?
The mundane blocks perfection
