she said fricken by Laura Madeline Wiseman
Guffaw, by Colleen AF Venable
"Guffaw"
by Colleen AF Venable

she said fricken not fucking called
the child a little shit. her definition
of superb times was thin involving
margaritas men saying you're cute

she met an adjectiveless man with
child to mom, five decades after it
wasn't uncommon for women to go
without education her job could be

nurturance. she knew this her way
to where she was not a beauty nor
charming but could smoke guffaw
saying fricken to all the little shits
