Some days she forgets to be borderless
in this land of bridges. Time becomes
a ribbon of water clinging to its shine
misremembering the past
as if she were book, not tale. She drifts
like algae until some small breath or breeze
reveals clarity, the cycle of realities:
what is seen, what is created
what gains substance from belief.
