Inspirations Table of Contents by Marian Wilson, RN Ray came to my unit, a man of the mountains who liked hunting and Harleys. When he was diagnosed with leukemia, he was angry and impossible to please. Never mind that I had chemotherapy to give, nursing assessments to do, and charting to complete, he just wanted me to fetch a decent cup of coffee.
By Jennifer Inman The night was young, but she lay in bed aching to sleep and moaning the inability to close her eyes. Her mind was racing. Sleep would come eventually, she knew. The tiredness of emotion and responsibility weighed heavily on her, pleading with her to give rest to the misery and pain.
