Cast me forth, boat adrift at sea,
guide me on, thought still yet to be.
Paint me well, dream reflecting shore,
tie me in, journey to explore.
Hold me close, memory to make,
write me down, a poem, for Poet's sake.

Jennifer Fennell is a poet, artist, and photographer whose work has appeared amidst cover and pages of Parnassus Literary Journal, Explorer, Night Roses, Inkslinger, Moon Journal, Lucid Stone, Beauty For Ashes, Etcetera, Maelstrom Magazine and as cover illustration to books by individual authors. Residing just north of Texan childhood, Jennifer now lives in Chicago with her husband and three children. A contributing editor for Maelstrom, current projects include the upcoming anthology Poetography: Image as Muse, journaling Jennifer's interactive photography project with Maelstrom readers.
