"A WOMAN WAITS"
You galloped out late last night. A woman waits. You straddled a black stallion riding into a snowy night. A woman waits. The snow is mounting, frosting all shutters & blocking each door. A woman sits on the window seat & as the snow falls a woman watches and waits. At 21 a woman waits. At 31 a woman waits. At 41 a woman does not wait. By Emily Delman-Brown
