"THE FIRST"




Centuries of silence

have borne this bold

Woman -

A hardy tree

from the root of

Inequity.

Strong and dedicated

to speaking in remembrance

of her Mothers,

whose tongues were cut off

by the dark veil of

Ignorance.

Behind her soul's song

of Joy, lies

the strange music

of her Mothers' pasts,

conjuring her courage

and choreographing

her Life dance.
